Welcome to the on-line home of the Shenango Valley Modified Softball League. The Shenango Valley Modified Softball League is based in the Sharon/Hermitage area in Mercer County, Pennsylvania, approximately halfway between Cleveland, Ohio and Pittsburgh, near the Ohio state line.
The Shenango Valley Modified Softball League has a tradition of excellence dating back over five decades. It is one of the oldest and most successful 10-man modified leagues in the country. The Shenango Valley Modified Softball League features eight teams that play at four fields in Mercer County. Teams from the Shenango Valley Modified Softball League compete yearly in the respective Pennsylvania state championships. In 2008, Our Gang's won the state Open/Major championship in Erie while Jergler Investments won the Class "D" title in Meadville. Coast to Coast won the Class "A" title in 2000 while DSM won the 2001 "A" title. In 2009, Mercer Bowl won its third straight League title by defeating Our Gang's in the championship series, 3 games to 1. The 2010 season will begin in May and conclude in August with the league championship series.
