TORNADO ALLEY 13, JIM'S AUTOMOTIVE & TOWING 12

SHENANGO TOWNSHIP -- Tornado Alley (11-0) withstood a 10-run outburst from visiting Jim's Automotive Monday night to pull out a wild 13-12 victory at COG. Ron Myers singled home Eddie Rogers in the bottom of the seventh to break a 12-12 tie and give Tornado Alley the victory.

Tornado Alley led 12-2 in the fifth but Jim's Automotive's Tony Porterfield helped ignite the rally with a three-run triple. In the sixth, Dustin Kulka cracked a three-run homer. He then tied the game with a two-run double in the top of the seventh.

Jim's Automotive & Towing took a 2-0 lead into the third but Tornado Alley surged ahead with an eight-run explosion. Eric Bombeck helped lead Tornado Alley with a three-hit night while Chad McCombs tripled and singled. John Koch and Brian Bodien both doubled and singled in the win while Jim Baretta and Myers each doubled.

Myers pitched six innings while Jim Kopan earned the win in relief. Bob Young tossed a complete game for Jim's Automotive.
