Our Gang's Lounge of the Shenango Valley Modified Softball League earned the ASA of Pennsylvania 10-Man Modified Open/Major state title July 12-13, 2008 in Erie, Pa. Our Gang's defeated Bootleggers in the quarterfinals, 16-6. In the semifinals, Our Gang's defeated perennial national powerhouse Bonnell's (Erie, Pa.), 8-1. Inclement weather Saturday afternoon and Sunday postponed the remainder of the tournament. Thus, as per ASA shortened tournament guidelines, Our Gang's earned the championship. Our Gang's will now participate in the ASA National Championships Aug. 29-Sept. 1 in Cumming, Ga.
