2016 Shenango Valley Modified League Playoffs

The Shenango Valley Modified Softball League playoffs began Wednesday, July 27. The league will have one quarterfinal round series, followed by two semifinal series. Quarterfinal and semifinal series are best-of-three. The semifinal winners will meet in the championship series, which is a best-of-five series.

Resele Marine went 13-3 during the regular season and clinched the top seed in the playoffs. Resele will face either No. 4 Sharon Domino's (3-13) or No. 5 Flynn's (3-13) in the semifinals. Domino's earned the fourth seed via coin flip after the teams' tie could not be broken.

Our Gang's (11-5) and High Street (10-6) comprise the other semifinal pairing. High Street, the No. 3 seed, is the defending League champion.
